The marriage between your technique & technology.

For any golfer to play to their full potential, they must be using equipment suitably matched to their ability and swing characteristics. Here at the SW:ING Studio we endeavour to ensure you know, and understand, what is best for you in both cases.

Equipment evaluation.

Equipment evaluation is a re-framing of what is commonly referred to as ‘custom fitting’. The difference with our equipment evaluation sessions is they are purely an advisory appraisal, delivered as an honest and impartial evaluation of the suitability and optimal performance of your current equipment, with any recommendations being the fastest and most cost effective route to improving your overall performance.

That may come in the form of adjustments and customisation of your current equipment, a recommendation on different specifications, an upgrade to the technology or model being used, or that a technique change is more likely to bring noticeable improvement than a switch in technology.

The information gathered and given during the session is yours to do with as you see fit. We are not a retailer, so there will never be any ‘hard sell’.

Repairs and customisation.

Any and all club repairs and customisation can be carried out here in our comprehensive custom repair workshop. We have a substantial range of grips to suit all budgets, and have the tools and tech to perform custom alterations (length, loft and lie) to all suitable clubs, including the putter.

  • Regripping

New grips fitted to your existing clubs, sized to your hands rather than to the box they came in.

  • Re-shafting

Replacement shafts fitted where a shaft is damaged or no longer suits the swing the studio has measured.

  • Loft and lie

Loft and lie adjustments to bring irons and wedges back to spec, or to a spec that fits how you deliver the club.

WHY IT MATTERS:

A regrip or a lie adjustment changes what the club delivers. Because the studio archives every session, the same shots can be measured before and after the work, on your own clubs, with your own ball.
